Dok12 ist die Onlineplattform einer Gruppe von Studierenden der Fakultät für Design an der Hochschule München mit einem Schwerpunkt in Fotojournalismus und Dokumentarfotografie.
Das Format entstand in einer Zusammenarbeit mit dem Fotografen und Lehrbeauftragten Jens Schwarz im Sommersemester 2020. Das zugehörige Kursangebot beschäftigte sich in Theorie und Praxis mit Fragen der fotografischen Repräsentation.
Alle sechzehn TeilnehmerInnen präsentieren in diesem Online-Forum die Projekte, die im Kontext des Kursangebots entstanden. Das Präsentations- und Diskursformat der Website ist potentiell als erweiterbares Archiv und offene Plattform angelegt.

Aufgrund der Covid-19 Pandemie fand der gesamte Kurs im online-Format statt und alle Studierenden hatten während der Erstellung ihrer Projekte mit behördlichen Vogaben und weitreichenden Einschränkungen umzugehen.
